Student to Student Music Project

Student to Student Music Project

The project was developed to provide students and project participants with an opportunity to experience live music and learn about jazz at a historically acclaimed jazz venue from student musicians.

The program is designed to introduce participants to America’s music “Jazz” and to provide insight on the skills necessary to become musicians.

Instruction is provided by student musicians from some of the nation’s most acclaimed institutions for musical training.

Music is a pervasive and indispensable element of social life, a medium through which individuals can, do, and will forever realize greatness in themselves and others.

It is a medium which fosters life skills such as: discipline, time management, creativity, and team building.

The Jazz Project was born from a need to expose students to this American Art form. It is our hope that The Project preserves and invigorates the culture of jazz, providing students a window into this American art form.
